Does brow gel make your brow hair fall out?
As of recently, articles have come out with the emphasis on using less brow products in order to protect the brow hair. From what I have noticed in my brow studio, clients have said that certain brow gels they have purchased have made their hair fall out.
Here are some tips on how to prevent that:
Do not over rub your brows. Brow hairs are more fine and gentle than the hair on our heads, and over-rubbing will cause them to fall out whether or not you use brow gel.
If you do use brow gel, remove the gel with a cotton ball and micellar water. Let it soak on the brow then gently pat to remove the gel.
Remove the gel daily. If you fall asleep with gel, it will eventually clog the brow follicle.
Do not over brush your brows daily.
A brow lamination is a great alternative to using too much brow gel. Brows are easier to maintain and it makes for a quicker morning routine. Pair it with a brow tint and you can skip the brow makeup!
